Invite your team (quick start)
Add a teammate so they can work on your chatbots without your password. Roles and seats live in the full team guide.

What it is
This is the two-minute version: you have an account, and a colleague needs to work in it. Invite them — never share your password.
An invitation adds them as a member of your account. They sign in as themselves, they work on your chatbots, and you can remove them later without touching your own login. Sharing a password does the opposite of all three.
The full explanation of roles, permissions, seats, and removal lives in Invite and manage members. This page is only the first step.
When you would use it
Right after you create your first chatbot, when someone else will be uploading knowledge, reading conversations, or connecting channels.
Where to find it
Open Dashboard → Settings → Members.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Members. You need to be the account owner, or a member with permission to manage members.
- Select Invite, enter the colleague's email address, and choose a role.
- Send it. They get an invitation link by email.
- They sign in (or register with that address) and accept.
- If they already have their own workspace, tell them to open Accounts in the sidebar and switch into yours — otherwise they will look at their own empty account and think the invitation failed.
Which role to pick
Give the least access that still lets them do the job, and keep billing with you. If you are unsure, start smaller: widening a role later is one click, while explaining a deleted chatbot is not.
Roles and permissions lists exactly what each role can do.
What you will see
The Members page lists people who have accepted and invitations still pending. Billing and Developer stay owner-only no matter which role you grant.
Limits and plan notes
Seats are capped by plan and count the owner, every member, and every pending invitation: Free 1 (you only), Starter 3, Standard 5, Pro 10, Agency 25. That means you cannot invite anyone on Free — you need at least Starter. See Seats and billing for teams.
Common problems
There is no Invite button.
You are on the Free plan (one seat, no room to invite), or you are not the owner and do not have permission to manage members, or you are currently acting inside someone else's account.
They accepted but their Chatbots list is empty.
They are almost certainly still in their own workspace. Ask them to open Accounts and switch into yours. See Team member cannot see chatbots.
The invitation email never arrived.
Check spam, confirm the address you typed, and resend from the Members page. An invitation is tied to that exact email address — registering with a different one will not pick it up.
Can I just give them my login?
No. You would be handing over billing and API keys, you could not tell whose actions were whose, and revoking access would mean changing your own password. Leave or remove a member is the clean way out.
Common questions
Should I just share my password instead?
Never. That hands over billing and API keys, makes actions untraceable, and means revoking access requires changing your own login. Invite them instead.
What role should I pick?
The least access that still lets them do the job — widening a role later is one click. Billing always stays with the account owner regardless of role.
Why is there no Invite button?
You are on Free, which has a single seat, or you are not the owner and lack permission to manage members, or you are currently acting inside someone else's account.
They accepted but see no chatbots. What happened?
They are still in their own workspace. Ask them to open Accounts in the sidebar and switch into yours.

Seats and billing for teams
A seat is the owner, plus each member, plus each pending invitation. Seats come from your plan, never as an add-on.
Switch accounts
Open Dashboard → Accounts and pick another workspace. The dashboard reloads so two teams' data can never mix.
