Create your account

Sign up with email or Google, finish verification, and secure the workspace before you invite anyone into it.

What it is

An Agentency account is the workspace you own. You sign up once, and from that single account you create chatbots, upload knowledge, invite teammates, and manage billing. Everything you build lives inside it.

The important idea is that an account has exactly one owner. That owner holds billing, developer API keys, and the plan's limits. Teammates you invite later become members of your account — they work on your chatbots without ever becoming a second billing owner. If a colleague signs up separately, they get their own empty account, not access to yours. That is the single most common first-day mistake, and the fix is to have them use your invitation link instead.

When you would use it

  • You are brand new and want to try the product.
  • A teammate sent you an invitation and you are not sure whether to accept it or register.
  • You started signing up and got stuck at a verification screen.

Where to find it

Open Start free on the marketing site, or go straight to /register.

Steps

  1. Open Start free. If you were invited by a teammate, open the invitation link from your email instead — it puts you in their account rather than creating a new one.
  2. Choose a sign-up method:
    • Email and password. Use a mailbox you actually check; billing receipts, security alerts, and future invitations all go there.
    • Continue with Google. This creates the account or links it to an existing one with the same address. You can add a password later under Settings → Security.
  3. If your deployment requires email verification, open the message and confirm your address. Nothing else unlocks until you do.
  4. If you are asked to verify a phone number, enter the code you receive. Some deployments require a verified phone before parts of the dashboard open; others never ask. See Phone verification.
  5. Complete any short onboarding prompts (name, what you plan to build). These only set defaults — nothing here is permanent.
  6. You land on Dashboard. Continue with Create your first chatbot.

What you will see

After verification you get the dashboard shell: the sidebar (Dashboard, Chatbots, Customers, Accounts, Settings), the top bar, and a mostly empty welcome state because you have not built anything yet. Find your way around the dashboard is the two-minute tour.

If you arrived through an invitation, the flow instead asks you to join an existing account. Accepting puts you inside that workspace with the role the inviter chose.

Choosing between email and Google

Both are equally supported and you are not locked in.

Email and passwordContinue with Google
Setup speedSlower — you verify a messageInstant
Password to rememberYesNo
Works if you lose Google accessYesYou would need to add a password first
Can add the other laterYes, add GoogleYes, add a password under Settings → Security

A practical recommendation: sign up with whichever is faster, then add the second method under Settings → Security once you are actually relying on the account. Having both means one broken login never locks you out. See Sign-in options and Google sign-in.

Secure the account before you invite anyone

Do these three things before your workspace holds anything real:

  1. Turn on two-factor authentication under Settings → Security. See Two-factor authentication.
  2. Save your backup codes somewhere that is not the same laptop. See Backup codes.
  3. Never share your password with a teammate. Invite them instead — you can revoke an invitation or a member without changing your own login. See Invite your team.

Limits and plan notes

You start on the Free plan: 50 message credits, 1 chatbot, 400 KB of knowledge, 1 custom instruction, and a single seat (you). Integrations — the website widget, plugins, and messaging channels — are off on Free, but the hosted /agent/{handle} link works, so you can genuinely test the product with real visitors before paying. Plans and what you get has the comparison.

Billing and the Developer settings page are visible only to the account owner, even after you invite admins.

Common problems

I never got the verification email.

Check spam and any shared-inbox filters first. If the link has expired, request a fresh one from the verify-email screen. Do not use Forgot password for this — that is a different flow and it will not verify your address.

I was invited but I created my own account by mistake.

Very common, and easy to fix. Sign out, open the invitation link again, and either sign in with the invited email address or register with it. If you already built things in the accidental account, they stay there; you can switch between both from Accounts in the sidebar. See Switch accounts.

Google says the email is already in use.

You previously registered with email and password using the same address. Sign in with the password, then link Google from Settings → Security. If you cannot remember the password, use Reset your password first.

I am stuck on a "verify your phone" screen and never received the code.

Confirm the country code, then request the code again after a short wait rather than hammering the button — repeated requests are rate-limited. If it still does not arrive, Phone verification covers the fallbacks.

Common questions

Can I use Google only?

Yes. Continue with Google creates the account or links it to an existing one with the same address. Add a password later under Settings → Security so one broken login never locks you out.

Which email address should I use?

One you check regularly. Billing receipts, security alerts, and team invitations all go there, and an invitation is tied to the exact address it was sent to.

I was invited but registered separately. Did I break anything?

No. Sign out, reopen the invitation link, and sign in with the invited address. Anything you built in the accidental account stays there and you can switch between both from Accounts.

Do I have to verify a phone number?

Only if your deployment asks. Some require a verified phone before parts of the dashboard unlock; others never prompt for one.
