Channels overview
Channels has three sections: Messaging with the public Direct link, the Web widget, and Plugins. The Direct link works on every plan.
Messaging channels availability
Three conditions decide whether a messaging app can connect: your plan, the deployment rollout, and the platform itself.
Connect WhatsApp
WhatsApp needs a permanent access token, the phone number ID, and your app secret, then a verify-token handshake with Meta.
Connect Telegram
Paste one BotFather token and Telegram is live, because Agentency registers delivery for you. It answers private chats only.
Other messaging apps
Ten apps share one grid, one connected-app cap, and three post-save patterns. Pick a platform here, then follow its own guide.
Connect Messenger
Messenger takes a Page access token and an app secret, then waits at Pending verification until Meta calls your callback URL back.
Connect Instagram
Instagram Direct uses the access token of the Facebook Page linked to your professional account, plus the app secret and a handshake.
Connect Slack
Slack needs a bot token starting with xoxb- and a signing secret, then your callback URL pasted into Event Subscriptions.
Connect Discord
Discord answers through a slash command, not free-form chat. Paste the bot token and 64-character public key, then set the endpoint.
Connect LINE
LINE needs a long-lived channel access token and the channel secret, then your callback URL with Use webhook switched on.
Connect Viber
Viber needs one auth token and nothing else. Agentency registers delivery, so the channel is live once the token is accepted.
Connect WeChat
WeChat takes the App ID and App secret of your Official Account, then verifies the moment you enable the server configuration.
SMS channel
SMS runs on your own Twilio account: account SID, auth token, and an SMS-capable number, plus a webhook pasted into Twilio.
Coming soon channels
Coming soon means the messaging apps are built but switched off for this deployment. Use the Direct link or the website widget.
